Inspirada en les estampetes religioses que la gent du amb si com a amulet de protecció, Aruma va crear aquest disseny per a posar en relleu la problemàtica humanitària derivada dels efectes del canvi climàtic que estem vivint.

Aquesta santa sosté en una mà un rellotge de sorra que es fon, símbol del temps que continua passant sense que s’apliquen solucions efectives que revertisquen la situació. En l’altra mà guarda un grapat de llavors, representació de l’esperança en el canvi, que depén de nosaltres sembrar i cultivar per a construir un futur millor.

L’acompanyen, a més, elements de la natura, allò que hem de protegir mitjançant acords i lleis que frenen la creixent degradació del medi ambient.

Inspirada en las estampitas religiosas que la gente lleva consigo como amuleto de protección, Aruma creó este diseño para poner de relieve la problemática humanitaria derivada de los efectos del cambio climático que estamos viviendo.

Esta santa sostiene en una mano un reloj de arena que se derrite, símbolo del tiempo que sigue pasando sin que se apliquen soluciones efectivas que reviertan la situación. En la otra mano guarda un puñado de semillas, representación de la esperanza en el cambio, que depende de nosotros sembrar y cultivar para construir un futuro mejor.

La acompañan, además, elementos de la naturaleza, aquello que debemos proteger mediante acuerdos y leyes que frenen la creciente degradación del medio ambiente.

Inspired by the religious cards that people carry with them as a form of protection, Aruma created this design to highlight the humanitarian crisis brought about by the effects of climate change we are experiencing.

This saint holds in one hand an hourglass that is melting, a symbol of time slipping away without the implementation of effective solutions to reverse the situation. In her other hand, she carries a handful of seeds, representing hope for change — a hope that depends on us to sow and nurture in order to build a better future.

She is also surrounded by elements of nature, which we must protect through agreements and laws that can halt the ongoing degradation of the environment.
